Production Scheduling Support: Performs planning and scheduling functions involved with coordinating products and materials through various production phases. Implements planned production schedules, labor loading and capacity requirements. Reviews schedules to determine materials and parts requirements to ensure materials are available according to schedules.

Project manage Matrix systems design and realisation within a gated design process
Working Closely with PLM, Engineering and Projects team manage the design and testing timescales
Plan and schedule workflow for each department and operation according to the timescale requirements for each project
When design requirements are finalised, create, control and plan all purchas and production orders. Issue to relevant departments via ERP system and ensure purchase orders and production requirements are correct.
Control the planning actions from engineering changes e.g. BOM changes
Ensure that all required system transactions are carried out during realisation stage –e.g. consumption of parts, closure of works orders and correct flushing of stock, NCP control and miscellaneous movement of stock.
Work with Logistics to organise shipping of each Matrix system
Generate shortage reports for investigation by purchasing in order to provide data for weekly production meetings
Update safety stock requirements and lead-times against capacity and know repeaters

WHAT EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS MUST THE CANDIDATE POSSESS?

Experience in a planning function within a production and engineering environment (Mechanical and Electrical).
Able to understand BOM structures.
Confident, with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, enthusiastic
Ability to understand engineering drawings.
Working knowledge of MRP systems (experience of NAVISION preferred )
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and other office programs.
